E-DAY / BKS at Repelen Postponed until further notice!!

Dear visitors of E-Day 2020,

The Dutch government has decided to cancel ALL events with 100+ visitors

At this point in time these measures are to be effective immediately
and at least till March 31st. We are now forced to postpone all
promotions and ticketsales of E-Day. No need to say we are saddened
this had to be done, but it's a unique situation no one has ever dealt
with before.

Untill this afternoon we hoped we could avoid this, but as it looks
now, the best we can do is postpone the event and find another date.

We understand the governments decision; we as organisers need to do
this because of responsible behavior.
COVID-19 could be a source of infection and we think the Dutch
government is right to do this.

We are convinced that avoiding potential infection will help contain
the spread. New measures can be expected from the authorities on a
daily basis and we keep you informed on the situation.

It is very important for you to know that this is not a cancellation -
it's a postponement to a new date. We hope you can understand that we
don't have any idea on a possible new date, but when there is news,
you will read it here first!

Now please pay attention to the following

Purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date.

Alternatively, you can use your ticket for E-Live in October. If you

If you want to spend your ticket costs on CD sales, we will give you a
15% discount on those sales!! If you want more details on this, mail

For all the above, please understand these are crazy times for us and

Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde von „BK&S and Friends in der Dorfkirche Repelen"
Dieses hier zuschreiben ist absolut nicht unser Wunschprogramm!
Aber in Anbetracht der aktuellen Corona-Situation haben wir uns heute
Abend dafür entschieden, unser Konzert am 14.3. abzusagen, bzw. zu verschieben.
Wir möchten gerne erklären warum wir diese auch für uns schmerzhafte
Entscheidung getroffen haben:
Für uns hat dieser Schritt etwas mit Verantwortung zu tun!
Wir fühlen uns für unsere Fans, Gäste und Besucher verantwortlich.
Nichts ist wichtiger als die unversehrte Gesundheit eines jeden einzelnen.
Leider können wir diese aufgrund der aktuellen Unberechenbarkeit vom
Corona-Virus
COVID-19 nicht garantieren.
Kommt es durch unser Konzert zu einer Infektion, so müssen wir uns der
Frage stellen, warum wir es nicht abgesagt haben.
Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass die Vermeidung potentieller
Ansteckungsmöglichkeiten eine Eindämmung der Verbreitung unterstützt.
Die Kriterien für ein hohes Risiko sind u.a. enger persönlicher
Kontakt untereinander und eine unzureichende Lüftung. Beides ist in
einer Kirche gegeben – es ist halt keine Konzerthalle. Dazu kommt,
dass es nur eine Toilette gibt.
Hinzu kommt, dass von den Behörden täglich neue Maßnahmen zu erwarten sind.
Ein Verbot jeglicher Veranstaltungen – auch kleinerer – nur ein Tag
vor dem Konzert,
wäre für alle Beteiligten noch schlimmer.
Ganz wichtig ist, dass es keine Absage ist – es ist eine Verschiebung!
Natürlich kann im Augenblick niemand voraussagen, wann die Luft wieder
so rein sein wird, dass ein neuer Termin zugesagt werden kann.
Aber da werden wir im engen Kontakt zur Kirche und deren
Kulturbeauftragten Farah Otten stehen.
Die bereits bezahlten Eintrittskarten behalten selbstverständlich ihre
Gültigkeit!
Wer den überwiesenen Betrag zurück haben möchte, bekommt ihn natürlich zurück.
Eine Option ist, das es in 2021 keine "Repelen-Pause" gibt und unser
diesjähriges Konzert dorthin verschoben
Wir entschuldigen uns für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten und
bitten um Ihr und Euer Verständnis – vielen Dank dafür!
Wir wünschen allen, dass diese extreme Situation gesund überstanden wird.

To attribute this here is absolutely not our wish program!
But in view of the current Corona situation we have decided to cancel
or postpone our concert on March 14th tonight.
We would like to explain why we made this decision, which was also a
painful one for us: For us this step has something to do with responsibility!
We feel responsible for our fans, guests and visitors. Nothing is more
important than the unharmed health of every single person.
Unfortunately, due to the current unpredictability of the Corona virus
COVID-19 does not guarantee.
If our concert causes an infection, we have to ask ourselves why we
didn't cancel it.
We are convinced that avoiding potential infection will help contain
the spread.
The criteria for a high risk include close personal contact with each
other and insufficient ventilation. Both are present in a church - it
is just not a concert hall. In addition there is only one toilet.
In addition, new measures can be expected from the authorities on a
daily basis.
A ban on all events - even smaller ones - only one day before the concert,
would be even worse for everyone involved.
It is very important that it is not a cancellation - it is a postponement!
Of course, at the moment nobody can predict when the air will be so
clean again that a new date can be promised.
But there we will be in close contact with the church and its cultural
officer Farah Otten.
The already paid tickets will of course remain valid!
Whoever wants the transferred amount back will of course get it back.
One option is that there will be no "Repelen-break" in 2021 and our
concert this year will be moved there

the shipping of parcels etc we don't have to adjust the shipping prices
at this moment. One of the reasons is that because of you our costumers
we can keep these prices so low. With over 1500 parcels shipped last year
